Wilmslow well under par at Over Peover

Wilmslow 107ao, Over Peover 111-3 (Over Peover won by seven wickets) - HAVING lost the toss and asked to bat, Wilmslow were moving nicely along on a slow pitch.
Handily placed at 51-2 Wilmslow surrendered their last eight wickets cheaply with only Sam Wildsmith (33) offering any resistance.
Harrison Lewis bowled well without much luck, but with only 107 runs to overhaul, Over Peover coasted to victory.
l Wilmslow’s second XI completed a 115 run win over Chelford at the Rectory Field, with Ethan Harding claiming five for 25 and Toby Rowe scoring a magnificent 53 and taking four for 22.
Les Hart (47), Dave Hewitt (32) and Mike Harding (44) enabled them to post an unattainable score for the visitors.
The third XI failed to reach the target of 264 set by Smithills. Brian Foden rolled back the years to hit 24 and Jay Patel 47 but the large total proved too difficult to overcome.
