WILMSLOW Albion lost 4-1 at home to Monton on Saturday, though the scoreline doesn’t truly reflect their efforts.
Albion got off the a bad start, as the visitors scored with a deflected shot which wrong-footed Bowley.
Albion created scoring opportunities through runs from Jenkins and Brookes, but Monton made it two with a sweet strike from outside the box.
Jenkins’ solo goal pulled one back for Albion but Brookes and McGuire wasted good opportunities.
Albion tried hard but ultimately fell short again and costly errors at the back ensured that the final score was 4-1 to the visitors.
